A Message from the President

As Club President may I extend a very warm welcome to the new Hemel Hempstead (Camelot) rugby club web site. Camelot is one of the oldest clubs in the country being originally formed in 1919 and although we are still both a competitive and ambitious club, we are also a very friendly and sociable club.

We provide excellent coaching and playing of rugby for those aged form six to sixty, and have both boys and girls at the club. We have a thriving mini section, a very motivated junior section and four competitive senior sides. We have a good club house and grounds, which we aim to develop further in the near future.

We have recently had excellent results and last year our first XV attained promotion for the second year in a row losing only one match all season. They also won the Hertfordshire Presidents trophy, having reached the final for the two previous years. Our other senior sides either came first or second in their respective leagues and had a very enjoyable time doing so!

We were delighted to have International honours this year as our own Hannah Clark was selected to play for England U19, and many of our players both senior and junior enjoyed being invited to represent the county.
